Christmas in Kerry - Day Trips

We had a wonderfull first Christmas in Ireland with Mum & Dad. Hazel came with us and saw almost every type of weather Kerry can throw at you. Below is a small video of us at Torc.

Inch was cold and bright, almost as cold as the Christmas morning 5 years ago when I proposed.

Our drive continued out round Dingle before heading home. However the day we did the lakes the weather was incredable, cold and calm, mist and cloud, lakes like mirrors.

From Ladies View you could even see the lakes.

Stopping at Mulls Gap we could see right through the Gap of Dunloe, and I guess we were looking straight back towards Mum & Dads house in Firies.

We went for a wander round Kinmare wear Hazel bourt a bear called Rupert that Dad completly failed to photograph sticking out of the top of Hazel's bag. However when we went down to the peir we found the comical situation of a dog stalking swans in the water.

By the time we started to head home the mist had lifted and you could see the lakes.

Once back down at water lever the lakes were like glass, stunningly beautiful (the lake not me).
