Christmas in St. Albans

After a really good Soup Run on Saturday night we headed up to St. Albans. We stopped off at Jim's on the way up and had a very pleasant hour with Jim. We promised to dig out the photo of Burt with his beer from a couple of years ago.

Then it was on to Hazel and Rob. We walked up the road at midnight for Mass and had a lovely Christmas day with, I'm glad to say, lots of presents. Even Tanner got one. I had a long fight with Hazel's oven that really didn't want to cook the turkey but we got there in the end. Christmas afternoon was spent with a port and brandy while Hazel & Gail cleared up the amazing amount of mess I created in the kitchen. Then Dr Who, The Vicar of Dibley & something by Dickens finished the day.

Boxing Day saw us back to Bristol and the following day back to work.
